Soumah of Yarra Valley is a premium wine producer located in the Yarra Valley, just an hour drive from Melbourne. This pristine area, nestled at the base of the Warramate ranges and ‘south of Maroondah Highway’, Soumah (pronounced 'so-ma'), is home to some of the most prestigious vineyards in Australia. It is from here they fashion wine with the charm of Northern Italy but the provenance of the majestic Yarra Valley. Our most awarded wines are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with recent recognition for our Viognier and Syrah as well as a passion for northern Italian varieties of Nebbiolo, Brachetto, Pinot Grigio and Savarro (Savagnin). Awarded Yarra Valley Winery of the Year 2019 at the Melbourne International Wine Show, the cellar door and northern Italian-style trattoria welcomes guests seven days a week, with views overlooking the rolling hills of the vineyard and the majestic Warramate Hills.
