The Schubert Estate vineyards are uniquely positioned in a small pocket of the Barossa Valley, which is perfect for the growing of premium Shiraz. The Schubert vineyards are carefully maintained using organic and natural products to maintain the quality and enhance the soil. All plantings are single wire trellis, wooden posts, North/South orientation well suited to take advantage of sunlight hours and complement the ‘Terroir’. Moreover, the de-mechanization and hand-picking of the grapes and hand-pruning of the vines ensures a high quality of grapes.
Schubert Estate fruit has been sold to some of the Barossa’s prestigious wineries and up-and-coming winemakers. The Schubert Estate fruit was used in the production of ultra-premium wines reliably fetching very high Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) scores of 95 – 100.
