Red fruits, pepper, a bit of gum leaf, bacon bones and dry spices. It’s medium-bodied, spicy and meaty, ripe tomato and herbs, grainy and dusty tannin, and a sappy spicy finish of solid length. Quite savoury, slightly sour, and packed with dried herb and olive, but an interesting wine offering a stylish version of Shiraz.
