Trofeo Estate is a family owned winery located within a lovingly restored 88 year old passion fruit canning factory, nestled in the foothills of Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula. As the Southern Hemisphere's primary producer of wines aged in hand-made Italian Terracotta Amphora, we are a truly unique winery.
Terracotta Amphorae are an ancient wine making vessel, steeped in history and linked to the wine making traditions of the Ancient Greeks, Romans and Etruscans. With a history dating back thousands of years, our Terracotta Amphora were hand crafted in Impruneta, Florence and are the perfect vessels for achieving wines that are elegant, soft, clean, full of pure fruit expression and great varietal character.
All of our grapes - Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz (Syrah) and Cabernet Sauvignon are estate grown and picked by hand. Our wines are also vegan friendly.
