Kevin McCarthy and Kathleen Quealy launched their winemaking business at the beginning of Mornington Peninsula’s ascent with regional heroes Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. They control six premium vineyards of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Friulano and Moscato Giallo. They have introduced organic systems of fungus, pest and weed control as a response to modern farming and a clear improvement in wine quality. They continue to be the innovative premium producers of their region. Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy have spent over 3 decades planting vines, making wine and introducing new varieties to the Mornington Peninsula. The Quealy team manage 60 acres of vineyard across the Peninsula, sourcing fruit from some of the oldest and finest sites.
